These photographs stem from a certainty: much of what builds and sustains Juntos Construyendo Futuro (Together Building the Future) doesn’t happen in front of cameras, in reports, or even in offices. It happens in the most intimate spaces of life, where the women of this organization encourage, care for, and strengthen those they accompany.

They make possible what we celebrate here. Not as perfect heroines, but as steadfast presences who navigate difficult days with admirable fortitude. Before dawn, they have already begun their day; after nightfall, they still hold onto what no one sees: whispered prayers, unspoken grief, and decisions that require pause and courage to carry on.

These images are a tribute to those who are the roots and wings of their families; to those who study when the house finally falls silent; to those who lead with character and tenderness; to those who find refuge in faith; and to those who, even amidst caring for everyone, seek a space to not lose sight of themselves.

The women featured here represent many more who aren’t here, but who are out there making things happen. Because what we build—every single day—is born from the presence, the courageous and unwavering resolve with which a woman transforms everything we do.
